Puddle

A healthy moor should be wet like a sponge, helping to prevent flooding and supporting a rich variety of flora and fauna. It is a vital habitat for some of our most endangered wildlife yet is rarer than a rainforest. This past winter I've struggled a little with burnout. When this happens I turn to nature. The world around me. This patch of moorland, Haworth Brow, has really been there for me! A new pair of wellies for Christmas and I fell in love with the puddles! They seemed to change from week to week as it froze and thawed, as people tried to traverse across it, making different paths of desire.
